Payments readiness + checkout hardening (Finix + others)
groundwork to “prepare for Finix,” including schema.sql regeneration for the Finix processor migration; improved handling for approved NMI receipt-tip entries; fixed PayPalNew class case mismatch (autoload failure); added a simulated card-not-present processor; finished Nova Apple Pay iframe checkout; and moved checkout diagnostics into payment processors.
Risk reduction for processor edge-cases
mitigations for USAePay post-fault “settled sale” risk, increased Genius client timeout to 30s, and added more context to errors that fail after multiple retries.
Coupons + Nova storefront updates
modern coupon authoring gated behind a couponsV2 beta flag, expanded coupon reward scopes, improved coupon builder UX/save progress, and polished Nova branding/coupon presentation (including hiding empty Perks hub, external loyalty detection fixes, and ensuring menu renders below-the-fold immediately).
Dashboard / Branding restructure
dashboard branding reorganized into a Branding parent with Web Storefront + Kiosk sections; added Nova theme + theme banner to web branding; and fixed themeBranding concurrent first-access duplicate-key race (getOrSeed).
Location selection map rollout
introduced a location select map (replacing an OLO page use-case) with follow-up fixes for data loading, Maps JS key, and waiting for Maps constructors before boot (credential/config sensitivity).
Integrations, reporting, and order syncing fixes
Shipday integration fixed end-to-end (with tests added); resolved /mcs/orders/{id} Live Orders fetch loop; fixed 0-dollar order reporting bug; initialized serviceFeeProcessing earlier in sales reports; and prevented POS order sync from advancing the lazy poll cursor.
Operational / maintenance changes
nightly restore retention reduced to 6; publisher now streams “ghost location” catalogs if present; improved phone-number handling/fallback for StreamPos (requires a phone number); POS orders no longer trigger SMS texts; and build metadata updated (package/app version bumps).
