POS improvements: menu search, a simpler quantity editor and faster order taps, plus menu search and a savings message on your online storefront.

POS Set up by our team

  • New: Search the menu.
  • New: A setting to show hidden menu categories.
  • Improved: A simpler quantity editor.
  • Improved: Orders open faster when tapped.
  • Improved: Categories no longer open on the lightest touch.
  • Fixed: A device can be set up without a card terminal.
  • Fixed: Several ticket fixes.

Ordering

  • New: Menu search on your online storefront.
  • New: Guests see how much they saved.
  • Improved: Clearer coupon deals.
  • Improved: Better dialogs when the phone keyboard is open.

Payments

  • Improved: See why a card was declined on an invoice payment.
  • Improved: Card processing fees are accounted for on invoices, including split fees.
  • Fixed: Retrying a failed payment on the POS backs out cleanly.
  • Fixed: Pending bank transfer (ACH) invoices no longer lock up.

Delivery

  • New: Reprint delivery-app orders. On Pro
  • Fixed: Delivery-app orders show the right times in the order list.
  • Fixed: Courier delivery for orders taken on the POS is more reliable.

Website

  • Fixed: Importing images from links with extra parameters works.

This note lists the changes restaurants and their guests will notice. Internal engineering work in the same release isn’t listed.
